Ipas is an international NGO working with partners across Africa, Asia and Latin America to end unsafe abortion. Women living in low-resource settings and poor women are those most at risk of having an unsafe abortion.
In a continuing partnership with FIGO, Ipas will sponsor ten recipients of the FIGO Best Papers from Low-Resource Countries as a way to highlight their amazing scholarship, leadership and participation at this important global conference. The winners will receive complimentary congress registration and USD 1500 bursary to help offset accommodation and travel costs.
The best papers for this award will be selected by the Scientific Programme Committee and judged on originality, quality of research and relevance to the promotion of women’s health.
The awardees will present their papers in a special session at the XXII FIGO World Congress of Gynecology and Obstetrics and will receive their awards at the Valedictory Session.
